Counselling for Children & Young People
We offer counselling services to children and young people from ages 6-25. Children and young people can be referred to our centre directly by a parent or guardian, or through their school with parental consent. We offer subsidies for families on low incomes as well as some school-funded sessions.
We are able to offer services both via webcam and face to face for children aged 11+, or families. For under 11's we can provide webcam sessions with a parent present.

How Can Counselling Help?
Many of our young clients tell us that they feel happier after counselling and are better able to deal with their problems. In almost all cases, clients report that our counsellors have helped them to concentrate better at school or college, or get on better with their friends and family.

"The impact on those children that have counselling has been huge and can be clearly seen in the children's learning and attitude around school and at home".

What to Expect?
You can expect to be helped by a supportive and non-judgmental counsellor either at a centre near your home, or in school, or via webcam.
You can be referred by a teacher, social worker, or you can ask to see a counsellor yourself – what you say is confidential, unless the counsellor is worried for your safety.
"Without the help that I was given then, I couldn't possibly be who I am today"
