Individual Counselling

We support individuals to work through grief, loss, anxiety and depression and other difficulties as well as offering specialist support for relationship issues.

Some clients come to RAFT for specialist relationship counselling when their partner or ex is not interested in attending counselling. Whether it’s to helping to repair ruptures or equipping you to end well, our experienced Counsellors can help you navigate the complexities of relationships at all stages.

Whether you're young or old, straight or gay, single or in a relationship, we can support you with issues surrounding your relationships. Your partner or ex don’t need to attend for therapy to be effective.

Our counsellors can support individuals with relationship difficulties, whether you’re looking to repair ruptures, strive for improvements or seeking support to end well.

Occupational health can play a vital role in helping staff avoid falling victim to stress. We offer a wide range of services which can be tailored to the needs of businesses and their employees.  We can provide support for your staff and their families through face to face, webcam and telephone counselling.

RAFT provide high quality 1:1 counselling sessions, covering issues from anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement to relationship breakdown.

Whilst all our Counsellors are qualified to deliver individual counselling, with their additional relationship expertise, we are uniquely placed to be able to support you and your family with whatever you may be going through. All our services are confidential and we will not share any information from the content of your counselling sessions with your employer.

You are able to self-refer to our service by email or phone. You will need to notify our Appointments Administrator of the name of your employer at the time of booking. You will then be able to book an initial assessment before attending regular counselling. Counselling will be offered the same time each week and we can offer you evening/ daytime appointments to suit you. This service is free and will be billed to your employer. Please note that we operate a 48 hour cancellation policy.

RAFT is a leading provider of parent and carer support, specialising in SEND and complex need families. We offer individual (or joint) coaching sessions for parents and carers across BCP and Dorset. These can be self-funded, although subsidies and limited funded sessions are available subject to set criteria. Please contact us for further information.

Self-funded appointments are £70 per session.

Bursaries and limited subsidies are available to individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford counselling or coaching.
